This bilingual publication is the first monograph on artist Frances-Anne Johnston and will serve to situate her career within 20^th century Canadian art history and feminist theoretical contexts. It features beautiful colour illustrations and critical essays by curator Rebecca Basciano and scholar Catharine Mastin, PhD. This catalogue has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada, and the Ontario Society of Artists.

Elle situe la carrière de l’artiste dans l’histoire de l’art canadien au 20^e siècle ainsi que dans les contextes théoriques féministes. Magnifiquement illustrée en couleurs, la publication comporte des essais critiques signés par la commissaire Rebecca Basciano et la chercheure Catharine Mastin, Ph. D.
